- Must have three (3) years of experience providing driver rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities
- Must have experience as a NYS Certified Driver Education Teacher or NYS DMV approved Driver Education Teacher
- Must have a NYS driver license with acceptable record and permanent MV-283 certificate required
- Provide driving instruction to participants on how to operate a vehicle safely; including the utilization of adaptive equipment and addressing disability related limitations
- Communicate with ACCES-VR and community-based organizations to support the needs of clients
- Schedule evaluation and training appointments
- Maintain client and vehicle usage logs
- Maintain confidential student files, complete with written reports and required documentation
- Schedule and transport vehicles for needed maintenance and repairs
