    Toolroom Machinist

    1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, OT and Weekends as needed

    Pay Starts at $25./hr. and can go up based upon experience

    Onsite at Ivyland, Pennsylvania

    Job Summary:


    We are looking for a Toolroom Machinist who has the ability to work from a part drawing to produce a quality, finished product utilizing a veriety of manual machine tools.



    Responsibilities:
    Setup and operate all conventional (Bridgeport, engine lathe, drill press, etc.) machine shop equipment
    Produce fixturing to aid in the production of machined parts
    Methodize component parts efficiently and logically
    Perform routine quality checks utilizing a variety of inspection tools and gages
    Adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment when needed
    Maintain cleanliness (5S) of the work area daily
    Complete daily JDE operation transactions
    Maintain satisfactory Productivity and Quality performance metrics


    Basic Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or equivalent.
    Technical School Certificate/Diploma or Skilled Trades Apprenticeship preferred.
    Minimum of 5 years in manual machining.
    Ability to problem solve and perform varied tasks.
    Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.


    Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
    Fully site based

    Weld testing
    Drawing interpretation
