The Local Government Services Division provides consultation (financial forecasting, reconstruction of financial records, fiscal analysis, and feasibility studies) to local governments like schools, cities and townships.
What will you be doing?
A Local Government Service (LGS) College Intern assists AOS staff in front-end consultation services by gathering local government financial information on-site; preparing and compiling working papers that support financial information and conclusions in a final report. Duties also will include research and documentation of financial transactions, fiscal analysis, and feasibility studies. Our clients consist of local government agencies (townships, villages, etc.).
The ideal candidate will live in or within close proximity to Cuyahoga, Geauga, Ashtabula, Summit, Stark, Trumbull, Mahoning or Portage counties.
Program Overview:
Hands on work with full-time audit staffs- receive the same duties as entry level auditors.

QualificationsQualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must attend an accredited college or university and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. Students pursuing a degree in accounting are preferred. Applicant must have a valid Ohio driver's license, must be a , and will undergo a pre-employment background check.
