This position assists with front desk services including student ID card issuance customer service and Rec Room support.
Responsibilities
- Provides a professional helpful and welcoming atmosphere by greeting responding to and directing visitors.
- Accepts screens and routes telephone calls concerning activities operations of the office directing inquiries as appropriate providing information accepts issues ID cards receives processes departmental paperwork monitors Discord server Recreation Room Esports Lab access check in out Recreation Room equipment delivers items on campus as needed provides coverage during weekly staff meetings assists with projects as required prepares marketing materials for distribution creates spreadsheets event set up etc assists other staff as requested complies with all published College Rules procedures guidelines laws regulations governing public employees including those related to document retention destruction FERPA confidentiality provides service excellence through courteous informed accessible professional engagement performs other duties as assigned reports to Student Life Support Specialist must maintain GPA criminal background check will be conducted maintains GPA adapts change positively proactively assimilates change rapid growth environment communicates effectively professionally diplomatically empathetically tactfully responds promptly courteously questions students faculty demonstrating patience persistence helping students little computer skills demonstrates integrity professionalism civility high degree ethics planning scheduling organizing tasks achieve goals time frames identifies issues determines cause develops creative solutions implementing resolutions accuracy attention detail expeditiously organizes coordinates manages prioritizes multiple tasks simultaneously swiftly assesses situation determines logical course action applies response.
