    If so, consider joining our team at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center working as a Full Time LPN as a Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift We welcome you to apply today

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Read medical orders and review patient information to assess patient condition and perform
    procedures as ordered by provider.

    • Set up and operate equipment, therapeutic gas administration. Administer respiratory care and
    clinical support to patients as medically prescribed.

    • Administers treatment; monitors patient's physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs,
    arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes; instruct and motivate patient and family in

    treatment exercise.

    • Diagnostic Procedures: Set up Holter Monitors, and set up and
    perform EKG's. Effectively document change and distribute reports.

    • Documents all procedures and generates charges within the department. Assist in maintaining
    adequate inventory.

    • Self-motivated and able to make appropriate decisions while prioritizing and managing time
    efficiently.

    • Communicates with others in an appropriate and timely manner, demonstrating tact, sensitivity,
    and ability to deal with people beyond giving and receiving instructions.

    • Quality Assurance: Assists in QA activities; inter- and intra-departmentally

    Additional Info about this job:

    • Under general supervision, performs routine and respiratory care treatment and diagnostic
    testing in caring for pediatric through geriatric patients.

    • Sets up and maintains respiratory care equipment, assists with education of community.
    • Under general supervision, performs routine therapy, principles of care and respiratory procedures.
    • Maintains a safe and clean care environment and quality improvement, consistently contributes to department operations.

    Key qualifications to be considered for this include:

    • Licensed as a LPN in the state of MO
    • May be expected to maintain a CPR certification
