- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
- Provide therapy and intervention services to improve patients' speech and language skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language disorders and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably working with patients with speech and language disorders
