Maintain individual truck or fleets for clients and handle service calls at client locations.
Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and be available for an open work schedule.
Diagnose cause of most malfunctions and perform repairs per OEM guidelinesCommunicate with parts department to obtain needed warranty or replacement partsSave and tag parts from the job if under warranty or if requested by the customerExamine assigned vehicles to determine if safety issues are present or further service work is required or recommendedManage inventory control on the service truck and for keeping the vehicle properly stockedDocument all work performed and recommended on the repair orderReport machinery defects or malfunctions to customerMaintain and held accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manualsAdvise customer and/or service writer of any repairs or services which should be performed within the next 3 months.
