    Summary



    About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency. It is located within the Clinical Support Nutrition Care Food Production and Services at the Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Moore, in Columbus Georgia. The primary purpose is to serve as a Food Service Worker Leader to 4-5 employees using judgment in assigning tasks and providing direction.



    Duties

    • Respond to workers questions regarding procedures and other directive technical orders.
    • Review work in progress for compliance with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods to meet deadlines.
    • Verify equipment has been cleaned, sanitized and maintained after use to meet established standards.
    • Verify safety and sanitation rules are enforced to maintain orderly work area.
    • Distribute food items and beverages in accordance with established standards and specific diet orders.
    • Delegate instructions and assigned tasks received from supervisor to co-workers to provide direction.
    • Retrieve trays following meal schedules, removing left over food from tray to maintain cleanliness.
