Description
We are looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team at RAYUS Radiology, previously known as Center for Diagnostic Imaging.
As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to create images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
With a patient-centered approach, you will deliver MRI services following professional standards and providing excellent customer service to guide patients through the process.
This full-time position (or part-time 30-39 hours/week) requires availability on weekdays from 1:00pm-9:30pm, including weekend rotations with no on-call duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts patient MRI Imaging, screens for precautions, explains procedures, and positions patients correctly
- Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures, adjusts scan parameters as needed, and maintains patient records accurately
- Maintains positive relationships with colleagues, follows safety regulations, and ensures compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Supports the MRI department by managing inventory, assisting with training new associates, and completing assigned tasks
Required:
- ARRT registered technologist with current standing, AMA-approved radiography school graduate
- Licensed Radiological Technologist, CPR certified, and experienced in performing MRI procedures independently
Preferred:
- Certification in imaging specialty and bilingual proficiency
