    Job DescriptionAs a part of the Human Resources Team, the Payroll Manager is primarily responsible for administering weekly payroll in accordance with all federal, state, and wage and hour regulations. The Payroll Manager supports the HR team in all areas of HR as needed, and may be called upon to process the bi-weekly payroll.
    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
    1. Five (5) years of payroll administration experience required.
    2. Bachelor's degree in human resources, management, or related field required.
    3. Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
    4. HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred.
    5. Fiduciary certification preferred.
    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    1. Extensive knowledge of federal and state labor laws and compliance requirements.
    2. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
    3. Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    4. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    5. Must possess strong organizational and project management skills including the ability to work against pressing deadlines.
    6. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
    7. Must be able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues.
