    Opportunity:

    Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

    Job Details:


    • Work day shifts from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with rotating days off

    • Handle daily caseload of approximately 25 patients

    • On-call responsibilities required during weekdays and possible weekends

    • 8 hours of orientation required

    • Must complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of start

    • Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience required

    • Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Virginia state license

    • Required skills: PACS, biopsies, contrast administration, IR/Angio special procedures

    • Must be proficient in stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, kyphoplasty, peripherals, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram

    • Equipment experience with Siemens preferred

    • Epic charting system experience preferred

    • Provide pre/intra/post procedure care for inpatient, ED, and outpatient populations

    • Work with adults and geriatric patients

    • Rotating holidays and on-call responsibilities required

    • First-time travelers accepted

    Facility:

    This healthcare facility features a comprehensive interventional radiology department that operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The department provides specialized care for diverse patient populations including inpatients, emergency department patients, and outpatients. The facility maintains modern Siemens equipment and employs an interdisciplinary team including radiologists, mid-level providers, registered nurses, CNAs, and technologists to deliver high-quality interventional radiology services.
