    Maxwell CenterSummary of Position: As a member of the Project Management Office, this position is responsible for developing and managing technology projects on behalf of the National & Global operating unit.

    This will include tracking costs, establishing project timelines and scope, and guiding projects to completion within agreed upon timelines and standards.

    Responsibilities include developing project plans, budgets, and process maps, communicating with key stakeholders, effectively collaborating with project technical leads and resources, developing, and maintaining project timelines, associated milestones, and communication plans, and managing project resources.

    Duties and Responsibilities Create & manage project plans Define project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progressAlign project objectives with institutional goals, and ensure project teams and stakeholders have a common understanding of project deliverables Deliver technology solutions on schedule and within budget parametersAssist project team with design and development tasksLead the process of issue identification and resolution Manage risk tracking process Monitor and manage scope and alert stakeholders and technology resources in the event of scope changes Oversee project documentation, including business cases, charters, and project plans Cultivate partnerships between clients, technical teams, and stakeholders/sponsors Manage multiple projects simultaneously Qualifications:

    EducationBachelor's degree in business management, communications, IT, or a related field.

    ExperienceMinimum four or more (4+) years' work experience in a fast-paced professional environmentPreferred: Experience in higher educationProven ability to onboard and facilitate the execution of complex projectsCustomer-facing experience in scoping and analyzing business requirements and objectivesProven customer engagement experienceExperience with project management processesPreferred: certifications in Business Analysis and Project Management, Scrum or Agile methodologiesRequired SkillsProven work experience in project management, business analysis or an equivalent combination of training and experience necessary to complete the responsibilities of the positionBroad knowledge of business practices, project management and IT systemsProficiency with project management software tools including but not limited to Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Excel, MS ProjectAbility to build and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of personalitiesAbility to understand client needs and IWU business processes and technologiesEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence othersDeliver powerful presentations and articulate concepts, designs, and processes in a confident manner that engages othersStrong customer service skills and the ability to foster this in othersIndependent, self-initiating and motivated individual, as well as a team playerAbility to balance attention to detail with overall project scope to drive resultsCritical thinking and problem-solving skills.
