    Description

    Estimator A highly reputable quality home builder is experiencing amazing growth and looking for an Estimator to join their team The company has been in business for over 50 years, is family-owned/operated, and works on both production and fully custom builds.

    The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in commercial and/or residential estimating and be proficient in MS Office.

    Field experience is highly preferred. The role will primarily work in an office setting with occasional travel to job sites.

    Prepare detailed cost estimates and production home building projects
    Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required
    Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other industry professionals
    Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers to identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
    Assist in the preparation of proposals, bid documents, and project budgets
    Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to management
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relate field preferred
    ~3 years of experience in customer and/or production home building estimating
    ~ Experience with estimating softwares (i.e. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
    ~ Willingness to occasionally travel to job sites and work in varying weather conditions
