    Location: Seacoast's main office in Stuart, FL

    Performs all functions required to prepare the appropriate consumer, marine and simple commercial loan documents in accordance with Bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance based on borrowing entity, purpose of proceeds and collateral securing loan request.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Perform all functions required to prepare the appropriate consumer, marine and simple commercial loan documents in accordance with Bank policies, procedures and regulatory compliance based on borrowing entity, purpose of proceeds and collateral securing loan request. Perform a variety of duties relating to the booking of most loan types. Perform balancing functions for and research outages in general ledger accounts. Provide support for department managers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Complete consumer, marine and simple commercial loan documentation accurately with the average production time of 20 minutes for an automobile loan and 30 minutes for a real estate loan or line.

    • Review loan application and internal bank forms to ensure appropriate information has been collected and provided to prepare necessary documentation. Transmit completed documentation and communicate to appropriate personnel for closing.
    • Upload at least 2 categories of loans, including extensions, modifications, assumptions, conversions, and renewals, using various loan origination systems or hand book if necessary within Service Level Agreement standards. Balance and process monetary transactions as needed.
    • Perform necessary tracking using excel spreadsheets. Perform all follow up activities required. Work closely with other loan personnel to ensure accurate and timely booking of new loans.
    • Communicate with line personnel all missing information needed for documentation preparation and/or upload. Process loan transfers per procedures.
    • Balance most general ledger accounts, including but not limited to Loan Control following procedures for each account and performing any necessary follow up. Research and correct out of balance conditions on the daily GLR291 report and the Loan Control balancing sheet.
    • Answer external customer and in-house inquiries regarding all loan functions, keeping customer service a priority at all times. Review all rate change notices as generated. Insure that procedures for all duties are up to date and accurate. Assist department managers as needed and with special projects.
    • Support a quality partnership with Lending and Branch personnel to deliver superior customer service. Adhere to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.
    • Ensure adherence to AML/BSA requirements, operational procedures, audit procedures, risk/control expectations, dual control, security, Business Continuity, and all other regulated banking requirements.
    • Adhere to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    • High school graduate, some college preferred
    • 5+ years general banking experience, including 3+ years experience in mortgage, commercial and/or consumer loan servicing or documentation or equivalent
    • Specific knowledge of credit related regulations
    • Possess strong PC skills; Word and Excel, or equivalent. Ability to transfer skills to other software programs.
