Job Summary

The scope of work for a respiratory therapist encompasses assessment, therapeutic intervention and education for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders and/or sleep disorders or associated complications.

• To effectively manage the care of patients, assess their condition to prevent, detect, monitor and treat disease and complications related to the cardiorespiratory system.
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments by measuring lung capacity using specialized equipment to determine if there are any impairments that may impact their quality of life.
• Determine appropriate treatment options based on the analysis of diagnostic results provided by healthcare professionals which helps in formulating personalized therapy plans tailored to meet each individual's needs. In this role you will also be responsible for promoting health awareness through education.
