    We are seeking a highly skilled

    Network Engineer

    to join our team.

    As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing oversight for monitoring and management tools, proactively responding to changing conditions to prevent system failures.

    You will also oversee and maintain core network services, including DHCP, DNS, BGP, SSL VPN, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SMTP/Message Delivery, VOIP system.

    Responsibilities
    Provide oversight for monitoring and management tools, proactively responding to changing conditions to prevent system failures.
    Oversee and maintain core network services, including DHCP, DNS, BGP, SSL VPN, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, SMTP/Message Delivery, VOIP system.

    Participate in the deployment (or redeployment) of firewalls, switches, routers, and phone systems and manage the maintenance of deployed infrastructure.

    Coordinate deployment of new internet circuits and related vendor-supplied communications infrastructure.

    Create and maintain effective documentation on network architecture: The Engineer will create documentation on the data flow, network architecture, and daily operation and troubleshooting for all network infrastructure and maintain that documentation in an ongoing fashion to ensure that all stakeholders have access to relevant and useful information to support their use of the corporate network.

    Function as an escalation point for technical support and troubleshooting: The Engineer will be on call as a Tier 2 escalation point for user support requests for network connectivity and will apply expertise both for consulting and hands-on troubleshooting/problem resolution.

    Coordinate support activities with external vendors where required for problem resolution.

    Execute standards and procedures to ensure that the physical, virtual, and cloud network infrastructure at Unipec America is ready and able to scale to meet the demands of the business.

    Ensure that the current network operates at peak efficiency, meeting, or exceeding uptime SLAs.
    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or the equivalent of 8 years experience in network
    Fortinet FCP or FCSS
    CCNA or higher

    Fortinet products experience (Experience with Fortinet products:
    FortiOS, FortiAnalyzer, FortiGate, FortiNAC, etc).
    SD-WAN - Must be able to execute routing protocols, overlay techniques, and SDWAN.
    Experience installing, configuring, and managing physical network equipment.
    Experienced with next-generation firewall (NGFW) configuration and WAN and LAN topologies.
    Experience of Network Security and Network Security Analysis

    5-8 years (Required)
    next-generation firewall (NGFW) configuration: 5-8 years (Required)
    Contract Assignment; Temp to hire opportunity after months
