Located in the heart of Texas, Seton Medical Center Harker Heights (SMCHH) is an 83-bed acute care hospital that opened in 2012. Based in Harker Heights, Texas, we offer an array of services including Cardiology, Emergency Services, a Level IV Trauma Designated Emergency Room, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more. We provide exceptional care through collaboration with our associates, physicians, volunteers and community partners. Our award-winning staff provides patient care with dignity and respect. We are Joint Commission Accredited, an Accredited Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center. SMCHH is a joint venture between Ardent Health Services and the Austin-based Seton Healthcare Family.

Harker Heights is nestled in the beautiful Heart of Texas surrounded by lakes, creeks, and rivers in the lush hill country. Lake Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lake offer many opportunities for outdoor adventures, including mountain biking, hiking, fishing, camping, and other year round recreational activities. Nearby institutes of higher education: Baylor University, Central Texas College, Central Texas A&M University, Temple College, Tarelton State University, and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. The Fort Cavazos Garrison is the largest active duty armored post in the United States Armed Services. Fort Cavazos covers a total of 340-square miles and supports multiple units as well as robust mobilizations.
Killeen Regional Airport is easy in, easy out; limited direct flights. Austin-Bergstrom International is approximately 1 hour south and DFW International is approximately 2 hours north.
