    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Embedded Linux Expert for a 6-month contract position to join
    our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring, building, and
    deploying fully customized embedded Linux distributions using tools like Yocto and/or Buildroot.
    Additionally, proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux programming is essential for this role


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Configure, build, and deploy fully customized embedded Linux distributions using Yocto and/or Buildroot.
    • Perform SoC/SoM bring-up for x64-based platforms.
    • Develop and maintain embedded Linux applications and services.
    • Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize system performance and ensure hardware/software compatibility.
    • Debug and resolve issues related to embedded Linux systems.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Experience with Yocto (preferred) and/or Buildroot for configuring, building, and deploying fully customized embedded Linux distributions.
    • Experience with SoC/SoM bring-up for x64-based platforms.
    • Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded Linux programming. Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience with Linux kernel development and patching.
    • Experience with performance analysis and tracing tools such as perf/ftrace.
    • Experience developing and/or maintaining Linux device drivers (e.
    g., for camera capture, ISP, GPU, Ethernet, and custom interfaces to other embedded devices).
