    A Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Molecular Imaging Technologist) is responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine exams within established guidelines.

    The person in this role will work in both the inpatient and outpatient environment and be proficient in all areas of diagnostic nuclear medicine, including nuclear cardiology and general nuclear medicine.

    The nuclear medicine technologist will demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a team, and independently as required.

    This role will be responsible for after-hours and weekend on-call for emergent general nuclear medicine tests as needed. The Nuclear Medicine technologist serves as a role model and resource within the department.

    Per Diem - Variable Shifts

    Qualifications


    • Minimum Associate degree through an accredited Nuclear Medicine program or completion of formal military Nuclear Medicine program required. BA or BS degree preferred.
    • ARRT (N) or NMTCB required. Annual renewal of ARRT or NMTCB required by Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification
    • State Certification as Radiologic Technologist required. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification
    • Health Care Level CPR upon hire
    • Previous hospital clinical experience preferred
