    Title:
    Material Planner

    The aim of this position is to manage external warehouses' contracts and provide packaging management of raw materials and component parts to Manufacturing and validate returnable packaging is available for production when needed.

    The role will ensure the material is shipped on time and received and stored accurately.

    Enter data into SAP per part and supplier.
    Updated Schedule Agreements for buyers for new suppliers or parts.
    Update Material Manager of nay potential part issues.
    Monitor parts for EOP to reduce or zero obsolete inventory.
    Check all parts from warehouse management system for accuracy.
    Update part list for logistics with packaging.
    Participate in monthly and quarterly physical inventory.

    Quality System:
    Understand, apply and meet all function-related Quality requirements.
    Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

    Employee must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.


    Educational Requirement:
    High School Graduate or Equivalent

    Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.)

    3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with supply chain or manufacturing.
    Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry, preferred.

    Language Required:
    English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)
    Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with individuals by phone, email, and in-person.
    Good knowledge of SAP and proficiency in MS Office.
    Good skills in JIT analysis and ability to analyze tooling reports.
    Good knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and supply chain concepts and flow and warehouse management systems.
    Good knowledge in IATF 16949 Logistics Standards, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
