    • Joe WilliamsCompensation: $125,000 $145,000 / yearDescriptionImplement company objectives to achieve Assembly Services business goals.
    The Design Engineer responsibilities include involvement in all Assembly Services operations to include product design/development, customer quote/contract review, technical assistance, quality assurance, custom solution objective development and achievement, and production planning.

    The candidate must be able to work with a diverse group of people and will have responsibility for design support and development of custom products that will have the potential for application across large portions of our customer base.

    The Design Engineer will ensure assembly service activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and general duty of care.

    Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the achievement of Assembly Services' Goals and performance metricsImprove and expand the Assembly Services capabilityDevelop and implement tools and processes to drive continuous improvementWork collaboratively with sales associates and customers to lead design support and product development activitiesEducate yourself in a self-paced program to improve business acumen, management and leadership skills, knowledge of the Swagelok organization and market opportunities.


    Education, Experience, Skills, and CompetenciesEducation and Work Experience:
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (required)5 years Engineering experience (preferred)

    Product design & development (required)Semiconductor Equipment Gas & Liquid Deliver design experience (preferred)Manufacturing operations experience (required)Customer interaction experience (preferred)Welding process experience and welding specification (ASME, AWS, ISO) knowledgeable (preferred)Quality and continual improvement experience (preferred)Skills & Competencies:

    Proficiency with CAD programs and analytical softwareCapability to learn features and benefits of multiple product familiesOrganizes and prioritizes well and has excellent time management skillsShows flexibility in responding to shifting priorities or new demands.
