    13190 NW 17th St, Miami, FL 33182

    Shift:
    Tuesday - Saturday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, hours subject to change based on the needs of the business

    Employment Logistics:


    The Operations Manager oversees and manages all sorts of activities and partners with the General Manager to create plans that will achieve short and long-term objectives.

    The Must-Haves:
    Four years of experience in 3rd party logistics and/or transportation or can be less if college degreed
    A minimum of 3 years of experience managing people, 1 of which being in a similar industry
    Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office and mathematical skills
    Effective communication skills including the ability to give honest, constructive feedback
    Bilingual in both English and Spanish

    Your Mission in Motion:
    Provide feedback to contractors with accurate data.
    Monitor and manage customer's cases to have a fast an accurate response.
    Manage ops assistance's hours to meet metrics.
    Take care of our number one asset, our Package Handlers
    Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment
    Record line haul time of arrival, destination, cargo, and departure time and expected arrival time at the next destination.
    Supervise the daily functions of the personnel to ensure timely completion of the Package Handlers.
    Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
    Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving problems.
    Confer with customers to provide optimal customer service delivery. On rare occasion may need to deliver delayed packages to customers.
    Determine appropriate resolution of employee/customer relation issues.
    Initiate or suggest plans to motivate Package Handlers to achieve their goals.
    Administer discipline and counseling as appropriate to foster optimal performance of employees.
    Prepare multiple business transaction/efficiency-related reports on a daily basis.
    Oversee the recruiting, interviewing, screening and selection processes of the staff.
    Assign vehicles to routes according to factors such as length, trip purpose and freight requirements.
    Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
