    We are seeking an NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator for our Environmental Group.

    Responsibilities
    • Assess the status of asbestos suspect materials within the New York tristate area engaging in building surveys for asbestos containing materials (ACM) and hazard assessments by sampling and testing
    • Submits all bulk samples to appropriate labs
    • Prepare reports on each investigation
    • Performs duties in compliance with policies and procedures
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline (Master s Degree a plus)
    • 3+ years' experience in Asbestos Investigations with relevant knowledge of applicable laws and regulation for New York City
    • Demonstrated ability to handle high stress situations while managing tight schedules
    • Proficiency in the use and application of current industry standard technology
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Required Certifications: NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector and NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator.
    • Project Monitor Certification a plus.

    Compensation: Min: $72,800 Max: $93,600
