Key missions of the position Execute and review structural design calculations of various sub systems of Couplers.

Perform and Review Car Impact simulation and Crash analysis (Selection of Couplers) Translate Customer contractual requirements into feasible project coupler solutions.

Perform and Review Numerical Validation (FEA) to cover Linear Static and Elasto-plastic analysis.
Responsibilities Comprehensive understanding on principles of Engineering Mechanics. Thorough knowledge of Strength of Materials and Theory of Elasticity. Understand and apply EN/AAR international codes for Coupler Design and Analysis. Sound knowledge of GD & T to review 3D models and Manufacturing drawings. Interact seamlessly with experts from Cross functional teams to integrate system engineering aspects of Design. Lead and deliver technical presentations to leadership team in Gate reviews and management reviews. Demonstrate leadership skills by facilitating and influencing key stake holders to achieve project milestones.
