    Description

    We have partnered with a top-notch Roofing Company in Denver, with a wide range of projects. They are looking for a seasoned Commercial Roofing Estimator or a proficient Project Manager. The Estimator prepares job budgets, bids by interpreting blueprints, doing take-offs, and estimating costs. The Estimator/Project Manager also liaises with clients to ensure technical specifications align with industry standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create accurate job estimates
    • Determine labor, material, and time needs by studying proposals, blueprints, and specifications
    • Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings
    • Review blueprints and take-offs
    • Request bids from subcontractors
    • Assess subcontractor pricing and scope
    • Review subcontractor bids and plans
    • Evaluate subcontractor capabilities
    • Calculate labor, general conditions, and material costs
    • Collaborate with clients on cost-effective solutions
    • Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents
    • Produce P&L reports

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience in Commercial Roofing Estimation
    • Familiarity with commercial roofing documentation
    • General contracting expertise
    • Contract writing and reviewing skills
    • Experience with EDGE estimating software preferred
    • BS/BA in Construction, Engineering, or Business a plus
    • Knowledge of roof systems, materials, and construction processes
    • Ability to identify and report unsafe conditions
