    Position Description:

    Acts as a strategic partner in aligning recruiting goals with business objectives for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Responsible for the broad oversight of talent acquisition activities with a focus on attracting top talent and creating a positive candidate experience that meets business goals and maintains volume and velocity as it relates to the recruiting lifecycle. Serves as a consultant with business leaders in forecasting business talent needs, then establishes proactive talent objectives, sourcing and recruitment strategies, and analytical reporting and communicates those plans and results to leaders. Guides sourcing and recruiting operations to ensure all needs of the business are met, including: hiring, sourcing, operational goals, and compliance. Possesses a strategic mindset and is comfortable thinking a few steps ahead of where the team is now.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Leads design and implementation of proactive programs to support business growth, a high-performance culture, and effective talent acquisition strategies and programs.
    • Analyzes Team Member trends and metrics to proactively identify and lead initiatives to meet organizational objectives.
    • Reduces risk and ensures compliance with hiring and talent acquisition processes.
    • Responsible for appropriate management of assigned budget.
    • Consults with internal leaders to develop a deep understanding of their recruiting needs, initiating and developing in-depth recruiting strategies and plans to address talent gaps in growing and existing markets.
    • Actively works to foster positive relationships and working partnerships with cross-functional divisions.
    • Collaborates with leadership in problem solving, in pursuit of organization and team goals.
    • Builds relationships across the organization to ensure trust, confidence and credibility remain intact.
    • Balances proven recruiting tactics with innovative, new approaches to attract talent.
    • Ensures that talent acquisition plans are effective, efficient, and cost effective and that the Recruiting Team is held accountable for results.
    • Partners with external providers as needed to ensure hiring needs of the organization are met.
    • Manages end-to-end executive recruitment for senior roles.
    • Travels to Company locations, as needed.
    • May perform duties after hours or on weekends.
    • Partners with Recruiting leadership to develop clear goals and success metrics as well as consistent hiring practices for the Recruiting Team.
    • Works with the Recruiting Team to advise and coach all levels of leadership relating to talent acquisition activities, and candidate experience.
    • Responsible for performance management (coaching, discipline, performance improvement plans, and annual reviews), staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
    • Participates fully as a member of the GCNA Leadership Team.
    • Plays critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.

    • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or another related field, preferred. High School degree or GED required.
    • 7+ years of prior leadership experience.
    • Proven leadership of recruiting function required.
    • Customer-focused orientation with strong communication skills and the ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients.
    • Working knowledge of current state and federal rules and regulations regarding employment.
    • Superior client services skills with the ability to work collaboratively with organizational teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple processes with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated ability to explain difficult issues and information clearly, ensuring communication is understood.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively and responsibly manage projects for superiors within the scope of professional area.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and motivate others.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid drivers' license and clean MVR.
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
    • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
