- Assists in the administration and coaching of the men's lacrosse program
- Assisting the Head Coach with practices; organizing travel and game day preparations
- Assists in organizing including managing the budget responsibly
- Works with the Head Coach in recruiting qualified student-athletes and monitoring student-athlete academic progress
- Provide leadership and guidance in the personal and athletics development of student- athletes
- Travel required to attend SCAC, NCAA meetings, conferences and other professional development opportunities
- Promotes a favorable image of the University. Encourages surrounding community partnerships that enhance Centenary College.
- Assists in the operating and administering of lacrosse camps and clinics
- Works on approved fundraising activities under the coordination and direction of the Director of Athletics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Director of Athletics and Recreation
- Committing to College, Department of Athletics and Recreation, SCAC and NCAA rules and regulations
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1-3 years of directly related experience dealing with a relatively large and dynamic group of constituents
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, leadership, problem-solving, organizational, analytical and skills
- Must have knowledge of rules and regulations set forth by NCAA and conference
- Master's degree

Description
The Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach reports to the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach and is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the Men's Lacrosse program.
The assistant coach must make prospective student-athletes aware of all policies and procedures. The assistant coach must recruit players each season in accordance with Centenary College, Department of Athletics and Recreation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
