Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 3 years.

• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

• 24 months of acute care experience within the past 3 years.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc).
• ICU experience with adult populations required.
• Must be willing to work with IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.
• Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
• Traveler must have experience in an Academic level 1 Trauma center.
• Burn ICU, CVICU, medical ICU, neuro ICU, surgical ICU, trauma ICU work settings; cardiovascular care including ECMO, CVP monitoring, IABP, Impella, pre/post cardiac cath or intervention, post–cardiac surgery (not directly from OR), pulmonary artery/Swan-Ganz monitoring; neurologic care including EVD, post-craniotomy, CVA/acute stroke management, ICP monitoring, lumbar drains, post-neurosurgery management, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury; burns management including thermoregulation (hypothermia/hyperthermia); cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure; IV insulin protocols; renal support including CVVHD/CRRT; IV therapy including ports, arterial lines, blood product administration, central line care, PICC management, and IV initiation/maintenance; medications including continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips; respiratory care including ventilated patients, ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, ABG interpretation, suctioning, pulmonary embolism, and respiratory failure; professional skills including surgical wounds with drains/wound vacs, infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and phlebotomy.

• Previous Charge Experience
• Teaching Hospital Experience
• Ability to identify and call out missing skills; screening candidates with limited CRRT experience (NextStage).

Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Special Requests: Holiday rotation

Shift & Scheduling:

• 8/12-hr shifts
• Every other weekend, no call.

14 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
