    Summary The Accountant is responsible for providing general accounting support to the Accounting Manager, Controller, or Director of Finance.

    This includes as compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts and the documentation of business transactions.

    This position will support our Event & Exhibit Services team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out Orlando, FL. Essential Duties & Responsibilities


    Assists in the preparation of supporting schedules to support calculation of sales and use taxes, business taxes, property taxes, etc.

    Assists in the preparation and review of monthly P&L's and also event P&L's
    Books necessary journal entries monthly
    Performs monthly general ledger account reviews and reconciliations.
    Assist the month-end and year-end closing process to include inventory observations.
    Assists in compiling of monthly revenue reconciliation, accrual, and reporting.
    Assists in the opening and closing of projects.
    Performs ad hoc business analytics as required from branch or financial leadership.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
    Education & Experience

    Bachelor Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent 4 years working accounting experience
    At least 2 years general accounting experience
    Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office.
    Experience working with various financial accounting systems or ERP's (Oracle Netsuite, Quickbooks, Sage, SAP, MS Dynamics, etc.)
