- Expert knowledge of C4 systems, IT policies, and governance to develop strategies and provide advice.
- Utilizes knowledge across IT specialties to make significant policy or program recommendations.
- Mastery in communications-computer systems to advise higher-level management and influence policy.
- Expertise in multiple IT disciplines, performance management, and program/portfolio management to establish priorities and evaluate investments.
- Mastery of IT governance policies and DoD business processes to advise on program interfaces and technological advancements.
- At least 1 year of experience at the next lower broadband/grade level (or equivalent) in performing Information Technology Program Manager/Project Manager duties.
- Ability to present complex issues; conduct high-level, sensitive liaisons and promote good public relations. Formulates clear informational briefings to the commander and staff.
- Thrive in fast moving environment with quick turn deadlines. Ability to resolve day-to-day issues as they pertain to the execution of the Combatant Commands Plans and IT systems and networks.
- Must have or be able to obtain an Advanced level IT certification in accordance with DoDM
- 5-10 years of experience of performing the major duties of this position
- Knowledge of the United States Space Command Component organization and responsibilities, and its relationships with other combatant commands.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
