Job summary

The Shift Coordinator (SC) will serve as a key link between plant operating areas, maintenance/electrical groups ,and plant management ensuring appropriate resources are engaged for problem resolution. The SC will coordinate delegate follow up on efforts of area technicians meet safety quality production goals.

Responsibilities

* Ensure team operates communicates safely
* Daily safety topics held reported near misses addressed
* Team functions at high level tracks monitors quality operational parameters ensure corrective actions place when process out defined parameter specification.
* Team member development track technician skill block progression conduct scheduled periodic reviews facilitate teaching training.
* Tracks monitors area GMP ensure corrective actions place when standards not being met.
* Strong technical skill set SC must technical resource advanced level troubleshooter strong communicator understand interaction their area rest plant potential outcomes process decisions.
* Coordinate off shift mechanical electrical resources job evaluation prioritization utilize PC determine area priorities respect plant priorities evaluate need mechanical electrical support exhausted can techs fix strong communicator verbal written forms talk game plan with area technicians beginning each shift follow up throughout shift ensure progress problem resolution complete written verbal turnover incoming SC understand who when how contact appropriate management personnel escalated beyond teams level including DR AM Engineers maintain support working relationship PC area DR other area SCs consistent timely communication areas plant management encountered problems issues
