    If you're ready to drive change and make history, apply nowWhat you'll doBecome part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Scout's Ergonomics ProgramCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and production, to integrate ergonomic principles into product and tool design, processes, and practicesUtilize best practice risk assessment methodologies to ensure ergonomics through design and commissioningLeverage evolving ergonomic research and technological developments to incorporate innovative solutionsConduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) ergonomic analysis on newly installed or modified equipment and processesMonitor and analyze injury and illness data to identify trends and areas for improvement related to ergonomicsDevelop and deliver ergonomic training and education programs, including early symptom intervention and work conditioningAssist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS (Environmental, Health, & Safety) Management System elementsMaintain detailed records of ergonomic assessments and corrective actions.

    Prepare and submit regular reports on ergonomic performance and improvement initiatives.

    Other duties as assigned by the Manager, EHSLocation & Travel Expectations:
    The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC.

    Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

    Here's what else you'll bring:
    Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Professional certification (g. CPE) preferred.7+ years of experience in ergonomics, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred.

    Demonstrated familiarity with global ergonomic regulations and standardsExtensive experience working with RULA, REBA, Snook Tables, HumanCAD, NIOSH Lifting Equation,Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.

    Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
