    ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Hurricane, West Virginia.

    Job Details:


    • Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

    • 36 hours guaranteed per week

    • Every other weekend required

    • 16 hours of orientation provided

    • Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends

    • Work in 5-bed emergency room plus 2 endoscopy beds

    • 2 years of RN experience required with 1 year in-specialty experience required

    • Travel experience required

    • WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)

    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fit Test, CPI (can be obtained through Qualivis)

    • TNCC preferred, PALS certification required

    • Must be comfortable with continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring

    • Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage, and care of ventilated patients

    • Diagnostic services include electrocardiography, respiratory monitoring, nuclear medicine, radiology, suturing and splint application

    • May float within scope to meet facility needs

    • Must live greater than 100 miles from facility miles considered case-by-case)

    • Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st) unless medical exemption provided

    • COVID-19 vaccine not required

    • Complete pre-start modules averaging 2-4 hours (non-billable)

    • Charting systems: CERNER, Omnicell, Accudose

    Facility:

    This is a 70-bed short-term acute care non-profit hospital serving residents of Putnam County and surrounding areas. The facility has over 100 physicians with practice privileges and employs nearly 400 nurses and non-clinical staff. The emergency department provides comprehensive emergency services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services. The facility maintains modern equipment and provides specialized care with free parking available for travelers.
