- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 6+ years relevant experience in solids management and preparation, for example, plastic recycling, minerals, and metals industry.
- Experience working on equipment and machines used solids movement and preparation, for example conveyors, rotating drums hydraulic ram mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment installation requirements in the field.
- Experience creating engineering documentation packages for machinery, equipment, or skids.
- Familiarity with API, ANSI, ASME and CEMA standards and codes.
- Able to utilize AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude.
- Strong logical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment installation requirements in the field.
- Complete and update Machinery Engineering documentation:
- Site visit to define the scope, quantify and estimate the effort required.
- Onsite validation of existing machinery or equipment drawings and complete drawings as required.
- Review and validate existing redlines if available.
- Work with Engineering Draftsman to update Mechanical drawings.
- Provide guidance to client's documents management and control of mechanical engineering documents.
- Prepare Operations and Maintenance Manuals for Mechanical equipment or Machinery:
- Operations Manual
- Maintenace Manual
- Operating Procedures and Instructions.
