Full-Time Psychiatrist in Jacksonville Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist in Jacksonville, Florida

The Delray Center is one of the premier outpatient mental health treatment centers in the United States. Our locations offer the latest psychological and medical therapies to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment of depression, panic & anxiety disorders, mood & personality disorders, substance abuse and eating issues. The multidisciplinary treatment team provides care that consistently yields positive clinical outcomes in even the most difficult and complex cases. Our center has expanded to multiple locations throughout Florida, and we are currently looking for motivated psychiatrists to join our Jacksonville office.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing and screening patients through psychiatric evaluations
• Analyzing data and assessments results in order to diagnose and treat patients
• Prescription and administration of medications according to diagnosis
• Monitoring patients to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medications
• Treatment planning, progress measurement against the plan, and making adjustments as needed
• Providing crisis intervention if necessary
• Completing clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Collaborating with our team of physicians, therapists, and nurses to assess and adjust treatment plans
• Coordinating and communicating with case managers and other clinical stakeholders regarding treatment and care

Psychiatrist Qualifications:

• Current, valid board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry
• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of an approved psychiatric residency
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Florida
• Current DEA registration
• Familiar with crisis assessment tools and techniques
• Strong working knowledge of general psychiatric practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Medicare provider as well as select commercial insurance provider enrollment will be required prior to the start of employment.
