Job summary
The Supplier Development Team Leader manages a team dedicated to identifying opportunities to establish improve and standardize how GE Aerospace functions develop supplier partner capability.This role develops rigorous assessment criteria oversees comprehensive vetting of supplier capacity capability and risk including operational geographic upstream factors by building maintaining best-in-class processes robust directory ensuring preparedness for current future program needs while driving continuous improvement in identification process.
- Lead direct Supplier Development Team cross-functional stakeholders in creation standardization of developing supplier capability risk mitigation processes.
- Maintain up-to-date view of supplier landscape through trade shows other venues ensure accurate profiles include key information capabilities certifications risk factors development opportunities.
