Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Windsor Locks, CT. This position involves working full-time with an elementary caseload, focusing on testing and counseling services for students.


Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services
Administer standardized tests to assess cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming
Provide individual and group counseling services to students with social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop interventions and support plans for students
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, counseling sessions, and student progress


Requirements:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Connecticut
Experience working in a school setting preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
