    POSITION SUMMARY
    The

    Strategic Planning Business Partner

    provides day-to-day business analytics, insights, advice and recommendations to management team.

    This role works closely with management team to support the planning and execution of short-term and long-term plans, annual operating plan and budgeting, as well as strategic initiatives.

    This role is also responsible for generating and running reports from sales, marketing and research data, provide insights and recommendations and preparing presentations.

    This position has to analyze and conduct product and channel reviews to identify opportunities and review product performance.

    The position is required to make actionable recommendations to the leadership team, aimed at enhancing category effectiveness and business performance.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Provides day-to-day business analytics, insights, advice and recommendations to management team, to support the planning and execution of short-term and long-term plans as well as strategic initiatives, annual operating plan and budgeting, as well as strategic initiatives.

    Conduct complex data analysis and generate insightful reports to support Sales, product development, logistics, and operations teams in their decision-making processes.

    Lead the team to design, develop, and manage reports, dashboards, and reporting portals that integrate data from multiple sources. These tools will be essential for measuring progress, sales performance, and key performance indicators for various business initiatives.
    Maintain and support AC Nielsen sales data, SAP product data. Use this data to create reports that enable managers to monitor sales and product performance effectively.

    Manage the CRM system (SAP HANA) for smooth operation and maintenance, providing reports for sales and product performance supervision by stakeholders.

    Also, conduct CRM training and supply materials to relevant parties to increase efficiency in customer support
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with them to assist in the budgeting process. Monitor performance variances against budget regularly and provide actionable recommendations to address any deviations.
    Oversee the end-to-end project life cycle, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
    Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced business analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    Participate in the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives to contribute to the overall success and expansion of the business.

    Evaluate and recommend tools and methodologies to enhance business analysis processes.
    Perform ad hoc duties and tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the organization.

    EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent quantitative training is a prerequisite for this role.
    Ideally, candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in data analysis, interpretation, and team/project management. The successful candidate is expected to be passionate and obsessed about data and analytics.

    Strong quantitative skills are imperative, encompassing the ability to manipulate and analyze data sets of varying sizes, distill insights, and communicate key findings effectively.

    Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, along with proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik Sense, is essential.

    The ideal candidate is characterized by teamwork, self-confidence, organizational prowess, and effective communication. Attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills are essential.

    Substantial experience with ERP and CRM systems is crucial, and a basic understanding of Business Intelligence tools is considered advantageous.

    The individual must exhibit self-motivation and be capable of working with minimal supervision.
    The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in addressing problems involving few concrete variables within standardized situations.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Successful candidate must possess excellent communication and presentational skills both written and verbal and proven ability to work independently in cross-functional teams to achieve established goals.

    Bilingual skills (both written and verbal) in English; Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
    Ideal candidate must be able to apply basic mathematical concepts to perform daily functions.
