- Work with our research team and other traders on our crypto trading desk to identify new opportunities that will complement and enhance our current suite of strategies.
- Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in managing risk while contributing to all other aspects of trading activities such as position management, reconciliation, research, and post trade analysis.
- Develop and share a deep understanding of market-structure, fundamental trends, and regulatory considerations in the crypto markets.
- Market making experience trading Equities, Cryptocurrencies, or FX.
- Proven track record of alpha generating strategies, idea generation, and managing portfolio risk.
- Experience managing retail order flow and signal generation.
- Ability to articulate and troubleshoot trades, strategies, and systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Must have a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Mid-high frequent trading experience a plus.
- Python or similar coding experience a plus.

Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has rapidly scaled as an independent proprietary trading firm utilizing its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. Now, DV group affiliates include two broker dealers, a cryptocurrency market making firm, and a bourgeoning investment adviser.
Overview:
DV Chain, an affiliate of DV Trading, provides world-class cryptocurrency trading and technology and has become one of the world's leading liquidity providers, arming institutional and professional traders with innovative cryptocurrency solutions. We're looking for a Proprietary Crypto Trader to develop and implement alpha-generating trading strategies within the Cryptocurrency markets. You will be joining a tight-knit, collaborative, and entrepreneurial team that is building solutions across the Crypto ecosystem.Job Responsibilities
