    Hughes Engineering & Consulting is currently hiring for a contract, Document Control Specialist to collaborate with multiple client departments and disciplines to deliver day to day document management activities in a paperless environment for our client's projects.

    Document Control Specialist Job Duties:

    • Process documentation including receipt, verification, classification, registry, distribution, archiving, storage, and retrieval.
    • Collaborate with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) authors.
    • Qualify and maintain templates and checklists for quality systems documentation.
    • Support end user training on documentation.
    • Assist in identifying document changes and deviations.
    • Support audits as needed.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance document control processes.

    You will have:

    • Minimum Associates Degree with 5+ years of relevant documentation control experience including for a Quality Assurance (QA) department within the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Veeva system or similar documentation controls system experience.
    • Understanding of Engineering and documentation change management
    • Proven track record of being self-motivated and capable of working in diverse team situations with clients and maintaining a positive attitude towards project challenges.
    • Ability for moderate travel to client site.
