    Basic Qualifications

    :


    Bachelors degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

    J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA stds certification may be required within 30 days of hire.


    CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Comparing defects against standards and recommending disposition, as a Quality Manager your talent will be front and center.

    Youll participate in team meetings, collect, organize and analyze project data, verify corrective action implementation, and verify implementation of rework.

    Youll also perform audits, determine and manage the handling of returned products, and author QA processing documentation. Well rely on you to determine and evaluate root causes and corrective actions.

    Youll mentor other personnel and participate as a member of a concurrent engineering team and participate in concurrent engineering development.

    What you bring to the table:


    Bachelors degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

    J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, IPC 620 may be required within 30 days of hire
    Very Strong electronics experience
    Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organization and follow up skills
    Work independently, demonstrate effective management skills in working with multip-task assignments, interfacing with various engineering disciplines
    Advanced personal computer skills including spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and specialized applications
    The ability to meet deadlines on mupltiple projects as well as the ability to converse effectively with all levels of personnel
    Extensive root cause and problem solving experience
    Knowledge of standards

    Duties and Responsibilites:

    Lead quality planning efforts throughout production environment to ensure all applicable contract requirements and deliverables are met.
    Oversee the Quality Management System for effectiveness and drive necessary updates to meet internal and external rules and regulations.

    Lead Quality initiatives throughout production, ensuring adequate resources, tools and training in place to ensure consistent process and quality of product.

    Lead root cause/failure analysis process initiatives to minimize production downtime and improve production quality.

    Work with suppliers to help formulate quality standards to help minimize time and cost of inspection and reduces suppliers defects.

    Coordinate efforts with supply chain to qualify new suppliers, develop supplier programs and support supplier improvement efforts.
    Review, analyze, and summarize data in order to create data-driven decisions within the production environment.
    Participate in and oversee continuous improvements projects to increase productivity, eliminate scrap, and reduce rework operations.
    Develop new inspection and testing procedures for products.

    Uses the information from testing and inspection reports to investigate the cause of defective products.
    Seeks to improve the quality of the delivered product as well as internal processes and instructions.
    Develops and implements processes and controls in accordance with ISO 9001:
    2015 guidelines and is responsible for yearly registrar audits.

    Salary Note:

    This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

    Combined Salary Range:

    USD $135, USD $146,912.60 /Yr.
