- Use multiple tools including the search engines, subscription services, government data sites, and existing documentation to perform research on specified topics
- Identify data trends, risks, mitigations, opportunities, and competitive data
- Conduct research using various capture intelligence databases and government published websites or databases
- Create and maintain data structures to support the needs of various client objectives, including business growth associated with business development opportunities and subsequent pipeline requirements
- Understand the world of multiple award vehicles, know how to predict what task orders will be issued on a specific vehicle, government rules and regulations and their buying regulations
- Improving efficiency using automation tools to make information available on an ongoing and real-time basis
- Ensure data integrity by documenting sources to prevent unethical competitive research
- Provide written and oral briefings to clients using data visualization techniques
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply the learning in a business environment

- 1-3 years of work experience as an analyst, or similar position
- Ability to draw conclusions from raw data then summarize results quickly and efficiently
- Experience working with large data volumes required
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent technology skills and professional working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Veteran of the U.S. armed forces
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Previous work as an analyst

We are looking for a bright, determined, and self-motivated Government Business Development Analyst who can assess, interpret, analyze, render judgements, and provide high-caliber data management services while being able to track trending data models.
This is a full-time position that supports working in our spacious Rockville, MD office.
We prefer candidates who can work in the office twice a week, but we will consider candidates who are 100% remote.

As the Business Development Analyst, you will support organizational and private and public sector client facing project activities and initiatives with a focus on business development.
This position will focus on identifying opportunities for our clients' sales pipelines, qualifying opportunities through in-depth research, conducting thorough competitive analysis using open-source data, and communicate and defend your analysis in client facing meetings.
This position requires the ability work on tight deadlines, analyze complex data sets, and problem solve issues as they arise.
