RiverRidge Center offers specialized Post-Acute Brain Injury and Stroke Rehabilitation andis accredited by theCommission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). River Ridge is located in Kennebunk, Maine and offersSkilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, as well as access to adaptive sports equipment and Recreational Therapy services.

At Powerback we are passionate about clinical excellence and provide paid training to achieve certification as a brain injury specialist via the CBIS program. In addition, we offer clinical mentoring to support individuals starting their career or are new to working with clients with neurorehabilitation needs.

The rehabilitation department includesRespiratory Therapists,FEES Endoscopists,Speech Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Technicians. The rehabilitation department partners withPhysiatrists, Neuropsychologists, andRecreation Therapists.

These rates are negotiable and, in some cases, can be augmented with things like a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and/or student loan repayment in select markets.

About the job

As a Physical Therapist, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will assess patient needs, develop their recovery plans, and deliver physical therapy.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.
