    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role located in Monroe, NC, for an Operation's Manager. The Operations Manager plans, directs and coordinates the operations of Stelco Electric, LLC. The operations manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of Stelco's construction and service departments through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

    Position Requirements

    College degree in business administration, commerce, management, operations, or a related field.

    Knowledge and experience in the construction industry, either as general contractor or subcontractor highly recommended.

    Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management

    Knowledge of business and management principles and practices

    Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices

    Knowledge and experience in human resource principles and practices

    Knowledge of project management principles and practices

    Position Summary

    Supervision and Coordination - Coordinate, manage and measure the workings of departments and staff within the organization.

    Human Resources - Establish and improve policies and practices. Organize recruitment and placement of required staff. Establish organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance.

    Financial - Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Monitor and control Accounts Receivable. Prepare and control operational budgets. Plan effective strategies for the financial well-being of the company.

    Best Practices - Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
