Job summary
We are seeking a Unit Custodian to join our team at the University of Michigan Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include operating vacuum cleaning equipment, cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures, dusting venetian blinds, spot washing walls to remove splash marks around sinks and fingerprints around light switches,
- Clean mirrors inside of exterior glass.
- Make beds
The successful candidate must have high school diploma GED equivalent combination education experience read write understand English follow verbal written instructions perform wide range physical activities pushing pulling lifting bending kneeling reaching etc not have any type lifting restrictions work sick disabled patients children adults hospital setting team player prioritize work handle stress daily basis perform tasks listed Unit Custodian Classification Description.
