    As a Senior Principal Software Engineer IC5, you'll provide technical leadership to the Identity and Access Management IAM team. You'll design, build, and operate highly distributed, large-scale cloud services that are secure, reliable, and scalable. You will be expected to architect complex systems, write high-quality code, and mentor others across teams.

    You drive innovation, make data-informed decisions, and influence roadmaps across multiple teams.
    Basic Qualifications+ BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience+ 10+ years of software development experience+ Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C#, or other object-oriented languages+ Proven experience delivering high-scale, distributed services in a production environment+ Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and system design+ Experience operating mission-critical, Tier-1 live services+ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills+ Demonstrated ability to influence architectural direction and engineering best practices
    Preferred Qualifications+ Domain expertise in Identity and Access Management IAM+ Experience building and operating services on public cloud platforms OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.+ Knowledge of multi-region deployments and multi
    • AD/AZ architectures+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test driven development+ Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker+ Experience translating internal customer needs into prioritized features+ Knowledge of threat modeling, secure development practices, and compliance frameworks FedRAMP, PCI DSS, etc.
    + Experience collaborating with large enterprise customers

    US:
    Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    Paid time off:
    Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.

    For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.

    Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation paid holidays10.


    Paid sick leave:
    72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.11. Paid parental leave12. Adoption assistance13. Employee Stock Purchase Plan14. Financial planning and group legal15.
