RN Med Surg

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

Salary:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year (estimated)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Assesses and addresses patient needs, prioritizing care based on acuity and urgency
• Makes patient care assignments based on skill, experience, and temperament of nursing personnel
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

Requirements:

• RN license required
• 1+ year of med surg experience preferred
