    Description
    Citibank, N.A. seeks a Digital Software Engineer Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

    Duties:
    Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Prepare technical designs that account for security, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance.

    Code, test, debug, implement and support financial applications using Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, RESTful web services, Core Java, NodeJS, Java Design Patterns, Unix, Shell scripting, jUnit, Java Websockets, Rules Drools Engine, CRON.

    Design, architect, and develop software applications and micro services systems using Hibernate, JPA, Spring Framework (Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Security, Spring Events).

    Use Docker and Kubernetes to build micro services applications, service to service communications, load balancing and security gateway in distributed systems of private and public cloud.

    Deliver fully functional code for cloud native applications capable of running in the physical data center and in enterprise Private cloud (PCF & Open Shift) and Public Cloud (Amazon Web Services) platforms.

    Implement application modules using object relationship mapping to interact with Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB and MySQL databases. Engage engineering teams to validate deliverables. Contribute to continuous improvements of processes, application design and execution. Provide post-production support; investigate, debug, and fix issues in production environment. Present analysis to management. Review, monitor and advise on coding best practices, unit testing, CICD automation techniques. Use Maven, Ant, and Jenkins to build code. Use version control tools GIT, Bitbucket, One Artifactory and development methodologies Agile, Scrum and SDLC. Use Splunk and Kibana to analyze application logs, monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues. Lead a team of engineers. Collaborate with business partners and analysts to review requirements, ensuring they are clear, concise, and technically feasible. Translate requirements into solutions. Plan and execute proof of concepts to evaluate emerging technologies.

    A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.


    Requirements:

    Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Assistant Consultant, Technical Architect, Senior Subject Matter Expert or related position involving enterprise web application software development using Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, RESTful web services, relational and non-relational databases.


    5 years of experience must include:

    Core Java, NodeJS, Java Design Patterns; Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Unix, Shell scripting, jUnit; Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, Spring IOC, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Security, Spring Events, Java Websockets, Rules Drools Engine, CRON, cloud native Scheduler; Postgres, Oracle, Mongo database; JavaScript, embedded jQuery, HTML, CSS; Designing and developing Cloud based software components using cloud native microservices, Docker and Kubernetes; PCF, OpenShift Enterprise Container Platform; CredHub, HashiCorpVault, CyberArk; API Gateway solutions, IBM APIC and APIGEE; Weblogic, IBM Websphere Server, Tomcat; CICD automation techniques, build pipelines, Github, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence; Apache Kafka, Solace, Java Messaging Service APIs, MQ, RabbitMQ; Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Application Security methodologies Oauth, SSL, TLS, API Policies, IP filtering; Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics; SOAP UI and Postman WebService testing tools; and Caching and Event Driven Pattern.
