    Job Description and Duties


    Under the general direction of the Administrator I, Classification and Hiring, the incumbent focuses on providing quality customer service to all customers while independently performing varied and complex work on projects and assignments related to classification and hiring.

    Responsible for providing the full range of classification and hiring functions including interpreting and applying all pertinent state civil service laws, rules policies, procedures, and state and federal labor laws and guidelines related to classification and hiring.

    The incumbent will demonstrate a commitment to provide quality service that is accurate, timely, and exceeds our customer's expectations.

    Working Conditions


    • This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
