    Salary: Depending On Experience (DOE)

    This position is responsible to ensure the proper staffing and deployment of the assigned shift to maintain the safety and security of enterprise assets, patrons and employees by performing the following tasks either personally or through subordinate staff.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Conducts debriefing prior to each shift to communicate new information.
    • Ensures proper staff levels to cover all mandatory posts, perform truck and cart inspections and patron grounds and parking lots.
    • Reviews and takes appropriate action regarding all incidents that occur including thefts, arguments, soliciting, intoxicated patrons minor accidents, counterfeits, patron falls and medical issues.
    • Writes and distributes appropriate reports to the security investigator for follow-up and future legal actions.
    • Develops and maintains excellent communication relationships with the Tribal Gaming Office, Site Managers, Tribal Police, etc.
    • Able to work rotating shifts (day, swing, grave)
    • Follows up on drops to ensure that they occur on-time, per procedure with the proper security staff present.
    • Ensures that escorts occur for employees and patrons as required and requested.
    • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness..
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:


    Directly supervises multiple security positions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Skills/ Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in Management and/or Criminal Justice is preferred, and/or 2-5 years law enforcement or security experience with at least one year of management/supervisory experience.
    • Must be able to perform in a calm and responsible manner in emergency situations.
    • Knowledge of casino video surveillance systems.
    • Must possess good communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Must be available for 24/7 on-call status.
    • Must possess a valid AZ drivers license and clean driving record for the past five (5) years.
    • Proficient in the use of personal computers Microsoft Office Suite Software and Enterprise specific programs.
    • Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
    • Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
    • This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
